Following a very enjoyable international reunion of the Souvenir Normand British, French & Norwegian Sections hosted by our French Section in Argentan, the British Section gathered in the sunny garden of our Chairman, Corinne Gibbons, in Ninfield for our annual garden party to celebrate Bastille Day. All members were asked to come dressed in red, white and blue and their attire did not disappoint!
We now look forward to our next Talk & Tea meeting at the Emmanuel Centre in Battle on Thursday 28th September when we have the pleasure of hosting Dr. Leonie Hicks, Reader in Medieval Studies at Canterbury Christ Church University on a topic of Norman history.
